    They said they would reduce bill by 25%, but was it necessary. Even if they did not remove 25% Our bill would have been much cheaper in ealier billing method.Because Fuel surcharge would be removed if coal plant is active. Per unit cost earlier was 42 Rs while it have increased to 45. The Fixed cost also increased to 420Rs to 540Rs.

    No one needs a reduction in the bottom end of electricity unit cost when top end is more than approximately six times more expensive. They could give 0-60 units free of cost. Because they are excessively charging domestic consumers on the top end with that cost.When cost of production is just 8.5 Rs per coal and 3.7 for Hydro. The fuel surcharge should automatically removed off since world crude price has come down anyway.
