CEB is promoting Coal power plants when the whole world is going renewales(wind,solar, Hydro,wave,woodchip, biodiseal,garbage, methane etc). They are using LNG or natural gas to boost power during emergency and It can be shutdown quickly.
Which Coal power plants cannot do. Coal is more unfriendly to environment and people as a whole. Most of Coal power plants are being shutdown around the world.
What these CEB engineers until now has done is give higher rates of eletricity to residents of this country. They have pocketed more money. They are getting better pay compared to others. Home owners do not get any subsidy they are paying higher price for other home users,industries and businesses, religious places, incompetant governement schools,government departments, etc. This is not subsidy it is looting money from one person to give others.
These engineers said Rs. 0.75 cents is for hydroprodution of power and 11rs for Coal production of power. Then how come they are selling at Rs. 45 to end user.
If CEB engineers who strike earn less than Rs 40,000 increase their wage, but the rest who earn more than this should be fired if they strike asking for wage increase and engineers from other South Asian should be bought into this country. To show them that people of this country mean business.
