When I first got my DSL connection way back, even at the speed of 1Mb, I continuously experienced slow browsing. My browser always seemed sluggish and the pages took ages to render. That is because simultaneously while browsing, I always had my bittorrent client downloading several torrents at full speed.

What I wanted to be able to do is to download a torrent and at the same time browse the web at the speed as if I am not downloading anything? Could I? After searching for quiet sometime, I found an amazing software "Cfos Speed".

What this program does, is it manages to prioritize your applications in regarding to their usage to your internet connection (traffic shaping).

"cFos Traffic Shaping reduces delays during data transfer and allows you to surf the Internet up to three times faster. So you can use the full bandwidth of your connection!"

"...cFos Traffic Shaping prioritizes data traffic in such a fashion that important packets zip past regular packets. This way, receipts always arrive in time, and uploads won't ever choke your broadband connection again!"

So does it work! Surprisingly it does. I know you have downloaded dozens of all the TCP Optimizers, and boost your internet connection up to 300% crap, however none seemed to do anything.

So what do you do after you download it? It's quiet simple. You just have to set the priorities of P2P software such as Bitcomet, download managers, and other programs that consume much of your bandwidth while browsing to "Low". The software automatically sets the priority of your browser to "High". You can also set the priority of "streaming applications" where you stream radio stations and clips to "High", this way you can enjoy the stream without any stuttering or additional buffering.

This software doesn't claim to boost your download speed. Instead it prioritizes the packets sent and received by your computer, so while browsing and downloading a torrent, you might notice the speed of your downloading torrent decreases, and immediately after you stop browsing the speed rises back to normal. That is how it works. So download it and try it for 45 days. After trial you have to purchase it and it's pretty cheap to.

Ok, I installed it. Added Firefox, and browsing is more responsive than before when downloading torrents at full speed using utorrent. I have to test more, but the preliminary test results seems convincing.

Thanks dude. This is exactly what I wanted!!!
