Community Development and Social Inequity Minister P. Chandrasekeran
passed away at a private hospital in Colombo this morning, 
a party spokesman told Daily Mirror. 
The Minister was in hospital following a brief illness.

You acted as a tower of strength to your party and all workers under your trade union. You took a very wise decision recently to support MR who will be the next term President in this country and your people had immense benifits under his regime. Succeedors are expected to continue with his vision for the benifit of their community without falling pray to military type presidential aspires who has already mentioned in his publi sppeches of a military govt.
