Changing foriegn currency

Hi Friends,

I have some Australian dollars bought some time back. If I go to banks they ask for the passport.
Is there any place you know , in colombo where I can change them without producing my identity card

You don't need the passport. But you need the ID.

where are you located at?
And how many Aus dollars have you got?

there is an place exactly front of sampath bank in wellawaththa (col 6) an money exchange place, they wont ask anything just ask for the rate and give ur money.

simple as that.
