Scientists in China have created a mutant strain of COVID-19 in a lab that has a 100% death rate for mice with human genes.
The pre-print study, by researchers in Beijing linked with the Chinese military, engineered two SARS-CoV-2-related pangolin coronaviruses documented in 2017 and 2019, before the COVID-19 outbreak, called pCoV-GD01 and GX_P2V.
After infecting them with the engineered GX_P2V virus, scientists noted the rodents began losing weight, showed signs of a hunched back and became lethargic before their eyes turned white. The test subjects died within eight days, which researchers said was “surprisingly” quick.
The mutant strain is thought to be 100 per cent lethal in mice and spreads through the body in a "unique way" and very high levels of viral load was found in the mice's brains and eyes.
The severe brain infection is thought to be the cause of the lethality of the virus.
Note that this isn't from the Wuhan Lab, where the original Wuhan virus was said be stored for 10 years before it leaked but another lab probably isn't certified to proper BSL standards.
Next time around the Chinese are going to really f!@# the entire humankind. They never learn lessons.
