This BBC drama portrays of a group of Jewish prisoners including a physicist, a glove maker, a law professor, a criminal and two rabbis in Auschwitz. In these terrible conditions and due to inhuman treatments they decide to interrogate the absence of God. Based on the events in Elie Wiesel's The Trial of God, sometimes it is hard to watch, most of the time offers outstanding performances.
