Cinnamon Air 4R-CAE crashed into Gregory Lake while landing

A seaplane that was preparing to land at Gregory Lake in Nuwara Eliya crashed at around 12:30 pm today (07 Jan).

According to the Police, the two pilots on board were injured in the crash and admitted to the Nuwara Eliya District Hospital.

Police stated that the accident occurred while the aircraft was en route to transport a group of tourists visiting Nuwara Eliya.
