It’s Sunday morning, and I’ve been switching around channels to pick a good substitute for the 2nd ODI between India Sri Lanka. (Match is dragging bit boring now, with Sri Lanka 5 down for 86).
Then I found this interesting program on CNN, titled “War Within” and produced by “CNN Special Investigation Unit”.
The program is covering the issues related to Muslims living in UK, and the potential “terrorism” threats for Brits, by Muslims.
Watching the program lead me to believe that CNN is trying to over emphasize that Muslims in Britain are linked to extremist terrorist groups like Al Quida, and hence all the Muslims are a threat to the “democracy” of Britain.
CNN is interviewing few selected leaders of certain extremist groups in Britain, and try to paint a picture that all the Muslims are supporting these extremist groups.
We know, after 9-11, ‘Terrorism” became a hot selling topic (a product) for international media, and CNN was one of the top companies exploited this market. If look at in another angle, CNN Was using terrorism, to improve their market share. So, indirectly “CNN is a terrorist organization” (Any organization which use terrorism to achieve it’s objectives [political or business] is a terrorist organization)
Now, the topic of “terrorism” becoming an obsolete “product” in the US, CNN is now looking to expand geographically, to sell their product. Americans suffered a lot from these “dummy terrorists” created by CNN and the media, living all their lives in suspicion and uncertainty. While CNN earned huge profits by selling “terrorism” to Americans, and painting a picture that “every Muslim is a terrorist”, the general public of USA had to live their lives always on alert without a reason at all.
Now they try to sell “terrorism” to Brits. The whole aim of this CNN campaign seems to be create a division among white pollution of UK, and ethnic Muslims. They try to create a distrust in the minds of Brits, against Muslims. The idea (product) they atrying to sell this time to the brits is “Muslims are terrorists, Koran is the code of conduct for terrorism, and Muslims should not be allowed to adopt their culture if they want to live in UK”.
Are the British people willing to buy these ideas from CNN?
