Diversified sector emerged as the highest contributor to the daily turnover recording Rs. 398Mn and Hotel & Travels sector also provided noticeable subscription of Rs. 261.53Mn. The total traded volume for the day was 46.25Mn. The highest traded stock for the day was E-Channelling PLC with 6Mn Shares changing hands. Panasian Power PLC also recorded 4.4Mn traded shares. Bukit Darah, JKH, Aitken Spence Holdings, Asian Hotels &Properties and Aitken Spence Hotel Holdings PLC recorded crossings, Asha Phillip Securities Ltd said in a research note. The price losers surpassed the price gainers by 106:94. The gainers were led by newly listed Nanda Investment; on the contrary losers were led by Ceylon Leather Products PLC (W12).The market recorded a net foreign outflow of Rs 269.34Mn..
