Above stake was sold by Hayleys subsidiary Dipped Products PLC . CSE benchmark All Share price index was up by 72.21 points or 1.05 percent to close at 6951.50 while more liquid Milanka Index closed 67.94 points higher at 6301.76.  In another development Hayleys Plc has acquired 51 percent of Amaya Leisure Plc (CONN). 24,524,961 shares of CONN traded during the day and closed 2.30 lower at Rs 107.70. More than 11 million shares of ACME changed hands and closed five rupees higher at Rs 28.10. Price Band was imposed again on HVA Foods Plc from 1st August 2011 to 7th August 2011 while Price Band imposed on Singer Finance too for same period. John Keells Holdings closed at Rs 215.00, up 3.30 while National Development Bank was up by 4.30 to close at Rs 142.70. Commercial Bank of Ceylon Plc closed at Rs 229.80, up 4.60. There were 150 gainers and 54 negative contributors for the day.
