According to the announcement, Sampath has already received the approval of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka and will make application to the Insurance Board of Sri Lanka for their approval . Sampath Bank shares was up by 4.30 to close at Rs 207.80. </span></p><p><span style="font-size: 15px"></span></p><p><span style="font-size: 15px">Index heavy weighted Blue Chip John Keells Holdings was down by 3.10 to close at Rs 191.90 while Carsons Cumberbatch Plc lost 7.60 to end the day at Rs 576.00.
