The environment is both indoors and outdoors, and adjusts to your actions in unique ways which must be accounted for in the heat of the moment.Deathmatch multiplayer is included for the first time in the series, allowing up to 12 friends (or enemies) to take each other on. Here the maps are much more compact and action oriented compared to Commandos 2, and initially I though they wouldn’t match the style of the game; however Pyro managed to preserve the tactical approach while offering more intense scenarios. The soundtrack is brilliant and I even extracted some of the music pieces onto my hard drive for later use. Graphically the game shows incredible detail and particle effects and explosions have been improved. Actual gameplay remains unchanged, with maybe a few small additions at some key places.
