DRAM is more expensive in the long run before only 2gb is enough now u need 32 gb or more ,besides you need more ram for GPU too , it keeps on rising. There is something called NVram which is future SSD.  It is much faster than present SSD flash , but a bit slower than DRAM.It runs in ns similar to DRAM. Keeping cost down similar to Intel celeron. Affordability for masses is the main thing, then the middle class, and the rich. </blockquote>
