What height difference between bath room floor and other floor areas when you plaining upper floor slab ?

Some people say that bath room should be lower 2 inch from other floor areas but I feel that is not enough to accommodate water proofing layer and wast water drains ?

leave a 4inch drop minimum. 2 for waste water, one for the slope. And if you want to drop the shower area, drop a another inch so that its 5inch drop and will have a inch drop from other floors after you finish

අඟල් 2ක් හෝ මිලිමීටර් 50ක් තියපන්. ටයිල් කරන්නේ මුලු Area එකමනෙ බන් ඉතින් එතකොට වෙනසක් වෙන්නෙ නෑ. Water Proofing වලට අඩු වෙන ටික විතරයි. ගොඩක් වෙලාවට Shower Arear එකටත් තව අඟල් 2ක් විතර පාත් කරනව.

better go around 6inches(150mm or 15cm) coz it is easy to lay your waste water lines on the floor and do the waterproofing and other works. always try to drop that part with beam, coz it will be easy for reinforcement works. after finishing the both floors (after tiling inside and outside) keep around 1.5 to 2 inch level difference.

you should plan the lower drains before put the slab.

are you gonna put another thick layer of water proofing on bathroom floor? for ceramic floor tiles you need only waterproofing paint on the slab. it will be 1mm tin layer.

4 centimeters enough as the gap between bathroom floor and other floor area.
