This is something happen to me. similar kind of thing happen to me once before this incident. I have been downloading modern warfare 2 from my windows 7 and i wanted to reboot to ubuntu due to some other reason, but still wanted to continue downloading. so i took a screen shot to take a note of which files are already downloaded. then i booted into ubuntu and after opening firefox, my pc got stuck. after several mins i saw some broken images.

as a n00b, i was just amazed when i recognised the broken image. and then i though it might be something related to the RAM.
anyway, i though that this would be a nice thing to talk with you guys. any idea about this would be highly appreciated.
