In a PIXEL
Three friends went to a hotel. The bill was $75/-

Each one contributed $25/-.

The waiter took the bill to the cashier.

The cashier decided to give them a discount of $5/- &
asked the waiter to return them $5/-.

Now the waiter got confused about how to distribute $5
among 3 people?

He kept $2 for himself & gave $1 to each one of the 3
friends.

So initially each one had contributed $25. Now as they
are given $1 back, their contribution reduces to $24.

They all contributed $24 -- that is 24x3=72.
+ 2 dollars are in the waiters pocket.

The total becomes 74. But they had paid $ 75.

Where is the remaining 1 dollar?

Bill amount------------------------------------------------= $75
Each contributed-----------------------------------------= $25
Discount given by the cashier-------------------------= $5
Bill after discount----------------------------------------= $70
Therefore the amount contributed by 1 friend-----= $70/3
--------------------------------------------------------------= $23 1/3
Therefore when 1$ each for a friend is returned -= $23 1/3+1
--------------------------------------------------------------= $24 1/3
Therefore 24 1/3*3--------------------------------------= $73
When the 2$ in the waiter's pocket is added------= $73+$2
--------------------------------------------------------------= $75

Now that is confusing:lol:
