+ As we have no dedicated server, we have planned to connect through a virtual network using a software called HAMACHI

+ Guys who like to play Counter Strike with us, please download HAMACHI
and CS 1.6 version


+ In this thread we'll be posting the time periods that we play Conter Strike and the member who host the game at that time



# How to play Counter strike with us :

1. Download and Install Counterstrike 1.6

2. Download and Install HAMACHI.

3. Open HAMACHI.

4. In HAMACHI click the Triangle button.

5. Click join an existing network.

6. Enter " Elakiri " as the network name and " 123 " as the password.

7. Now you have connected to the Network.

8. Open CS 1.6

9. In CS 1.6 press the button " ~ " (before no 1).

10. In the console text bar type " connect<space>adress of the game host ".
(eg : connect 5.166.25.223) - please type the address of the person who has created the game map

11. Then submit.

12. Now you have joined the Game.

13. Enjoy your play.

What is the Map you gonna play

We will be starting with "ICE WORLD FOR EVER", we need to verify all the members has the speed limit necessary.

When connected some members were marked as low speed by hamachi, so we are going to play this small map first the get familiar with the online environment,

And if one person lags the game will lag for all members, but we can try closing there firewalls and canceling the downloads, and after all that if the person lags it's bye bye for him

and then we can decide what to play,

every one will get there chance to create maps, thats for sure.

Try installing Fast Internet on slow connections.

I played rise of nations over d internet with and without d program. Without d program i dropedout of d game regularly but with d program i didnt drop out.

Fast Internet

steps

run the setup
copy other two files to the installation directory
run the program
run quick wizard
select broadband connection
then select all interfaces
finally select strategy 3

then restart.
