I don't know if this was posted before, and it is not new either. The 45nm CPU owners switched to Realtemp because CoreTemp wasn't giving correct readouts for 45nm CPUs, but it's all good now. :)

Version 0.99.3 - 22th August, 2008

- Add: Correct TjMax values for 45nm Core 2 series, according to this document.

- Fix: When TjMax = 0 (undefined) "Delta to Tjunction" was not added to the temperature string.
- Fix: On the fly CPU speed didn't pick up changes when EIST was disabled (only C1E active).

Download: Core Temp 0.99.3

I checked the version that I posted my Temps.. its the same version, so no worries I guess!
Anyway you don't have a 45nm CPU. It was alright with 65nm CPUs. I mean, it was especially made for Core 2 CPUs and they were 65nm originally. They have to be supported ne :D

BUMP!

around 34°C @ 5% Load
around 43°C @ 100% Load

Duh! 90nm though

    Where I'm now
There was a problem for me with a mobile CPU.Lap was Acer extenza 5620.A 2GHz CPU.Core temp had 10C lower than realtemp at the same moment.I was like WTF and since 51C was kind of real than 61C I guess core temp was right. So I thought of sticking into core temp for a while.

One program could have had TJ-max 10c higher than the other. The sensors in Intel CPUs report the current temp and TJ-max delta, not the current temp. These programs deduct the sensor reading from TJ-max to show the temp. TJ-max value used in the program changes the value shown as the current core temp :)

Anyway, good thing that Core Temp now uses the official TJ-max values from Intel :D
