Certainly oral medications could have undesirable consequences and have been reported. For eg Chloroquine is reported unsafe. But these patients have other health complications, so it's not the norm. Also the studies are inconclusive.You raised a good question. There are more than 500 Million people worldwide with G6PD deficiency. There is no specific answer from the vaccine developers. But I am quite positive that I have read somewhere that the Pfizer vaccine has no relevant contraindications. If I get to know anything, will update the post. Sent an email couple of contacts in the UK on what the guidelines there.</blockquote>
