Cricket world cup final...wht happened?

Well we lost it again...do u really believe that?
Sanga is the last person on earth who would ever give a match.But did u see his body language during the second half?
it was like he was in really pain or something...was he under pressure from high posts to give away the match?
When Virath Kohli got out y didn't he apply pressure? he took dilshan off the bowling...when he was bowling well..he missed a stumping chance a runout...when did u last see sanga drop a catch? or miss a run out?

i'm not blaming sanga or any memeber in our team....but as a sri lankan i supported my country form the bottom of my heart and so did another 20 million sri lankans...tears came to my eyes on that day..man we got sehwag for 0,tendukar for 20 odd...yet we lost?

i feel some monkey business behind this..may be sanga got threats from higher positions?
really i saw this..it was not the sanga i had seen b4 in the field on that day..

i feel the icc shud at least luk into this...

please lets discuss this...this is only to discuss n need to fight...


Note- every stat showed a lankan victory...
no country has won a wc at home..
no country has lost a final after wining the toss.
no country has lost a final after one of their batsman got a hundred
every time SL did well in Aus b4 the wc they went to the final...
2006 -they got to the final of the VB series and there after in 2007 they go to the final

1995- they got to the final of Benson and hedges tournament and Aussies cheated and they won the wc in 1996

2010-they defeated aus

Lankan skipper Kumar Sangakkara today morning handed in his resignation from the Sri Lanka Cricket Captaincy, his manager Charlie Austin told Ada Derana a short while ago. Ada Derana earlier quoting sources reported that Sangakkara was scheduled to resign.



Austin added that Sangakkara had resigned from the ODI and T20 captaincy and had proposed to step down from the Test captaincy as well.



However Sangakkara offered to hold an interim captaincy position for the upcoming England and Australia tours if the selectors are unable to find a successor.

for ur information the great indian battin order had major collapses during the group stages..and even in some knockout matches

well that is because of the pitch I think they have prepared a pitch that is benifited to them

yeah they have some problems with their batting bt as cricket experts say they peak at the right time they are worried abt thier bowling bt they bowl brilliently in the Final , bat with confidence they knew that whatever score they have they can case it ! well all abt miss chances we can say it is not our day if is not ur day means those kind of things will happen (remember 1996 Final?) (what abt 2007 Final ? Delhara missed Gilchrist's Catch right? ) so stop all these speculation think positive

I think Sangaa's poor dicision making & our sloppy fielding cost the WC title for us that's all

they are not a crappy team.. i too agree...but we were better....sanga was under orders to give it away...
he applied no pressure in the middle..no close in fielders were placed...singles were taken easily...
dropped a catch, missed a stumping chance, missed a runout....
come on man.....
this was done under orders...no bookmaker was invloved...only the higher ranking ppl in both governments as i guess...
i dont think even mahinda liked this idea..which might had been the reason for him to give that kind of a speach..but its india who always guarded our back against international threats i think he too was given no choice
