Believe whatever you want to believe. Da Vinchi Code is a work of fiction. The movie is a rather bad adaptation of the book and the book it self is a work of FICTION.
If you believe that a work of fiction is true, then there's no point in asking if the movie is true or not.

True it's a work of fiction, but u can't quench the curiosity of people and their love for conspiracy theories . . .we like those conspiracies to be true in our wild dreams. that is the reason these types of books are a hit among readers.

but don't forget dat the idea in da vinci code is not dan brown's himself...
this theory was there for many centuries in da past

so it's worth to have a doubt

The validity of the core theory is a debatable issue and will probably remain so for the future as well.
However the book and movie are works of fiction and questioning it's validity is pointless.
