Damaged Buffer Clips

While doing a repair on my car, we had to remove the buffer. When removing the buffer noticed that the previous owner had pasted(glued) the buffer on one side (clips broken according to mechanic).

I didnt noticed this neither did the company inspection had a note on this

Its not a big issue now but there is a tiny gap after refixing the buffer. I did not glue it again.

Will this be an issue in future when taking insurance claims related to the buffer?

Is there any way to repair this reliably?
Don't want replace the buffer right now since i dont see any issue with current status

You can buy bumper clips and replace the broken clips (may have ne epoxy the clips to the bumper if the clip mounts are broken) or use cable-ties. Worst case you can buy a length of thin aluminum and bend it to shape and make your own support bracket. (from the inside)
Or buy a second hand bumper / fix the original depending on the material (fiberglass is cheap to fix and abs plastic is not)
I'm guessing cz you haven't posted any photos.

Not sure whether you can repair buffer clips.
But I saw some guys (Near Minuwangoda or Udugampol) doing the plastic moulding(now a day you don't need to put cataloy paste for the plastic buffer )
