dealing with .iso , .uif et files

i downloaded the latest xp sp 2 edition. but the file's with a .iso extention. could anyone tel me how to extract this thing?. if i write this file using nero 7 to a cd will it be automatically extracted to the cd.(to look like a normal sp 2 cd available at shops)?

If it is a .iso file burning it with Nero will do. If you want to extract the file in the image use IsoBuster. it can extract almost all CD images. But extracting the CD content and writing it to CD will not work because Bootable CDs contains a boot sector which will not be extracted when you extract files. So Burning the image is the best solution.
