So, i have been reading a lot of threads about immigrating to Canada and all. I will try to debunk all the myths and ideas around the whole immigration and life after from experience.

LOL. If you can’t score at least 440, are not a nurse, don’t have a relative to sponsor you, and don’t qualify as a refugee, you’re probably out of luck.

It is designed to allow only the best and brightest into the country. Only those who can show that they can contribute to the overall value of Canada will actually be accepted.
If you have less than 400, PNP is a way to go, but takes time and more
costly with rules and regulations.
Canada has a aging population, which means more old people. The younger you are, the better the chances.

- The foreign workers are mostly required in trucking and farming. This labour does not need much skills, hence the relation with Canada comes in scene. Someone who knows somebody is less likely to become burden for the Canadian govt. So, people with less CRS points can migrate after obtaining points for the close relatives in Canada.
- Then comes the skilled workers, which is considered the key force behind the service, IT, startups and other sectors requiring skilled people. These people must possess good education and excellent language skills along with industry experience to become eligible for migration as permanent residents, when age also becomes one of the important factors.
- Thirdly, students with adequate language skills and minimum investment can chose to study in Canada. The international student business heavily contributes to Canadian economy.
2. Everyone gets odd jobs first
Not Really. Unless you are a civil engineer back home, mmbs/doc, architect etc, its kind of okay to find jobs. Job market Canada is run by mainly referral systems. If you have a connection inside a company, you can easily get interviews at least.
Also there are programs run by the gov to help new immigrants land jobs and etc. EX: If you want to study after landing on PR, you can ask for gov funds.
Canadian experience is what the employers look for.
Lets say you go for an odd job, min pay is like 15 CAD/h. That's around 150 per day if you work for 10hrs. A meal outside is 5-10 CAD. You can still have a life.
Many Indians drive uber and shit its full-time, which is a good income. But then you will be not improving yourself on other skills. Again depends on what you want.
There is always the option of learning and improving knowledge.

Yes it is. but it doesn't mean people die every winter eh? LOL. Clothing is the main thing here, layers and layers of clothing. And houses have A/C and heaters by default.
