I went to Softlogic last year to get one of my DELL XPS notebooks fixed, and they told me that they can only handle Latitude series (only those models they are selling). When I asked why they cant do it, one guy told me that they are just local resellers and have no authority to handle warranty claims on behalf of DELL. The only thing they could offer was to ship it to singapore and get it repaired if i paid shipping and handling charges. Well...its better than nothing, I suppose.So your options are to either contact a genuine DELL dealer/service station outside Sri Lanka OR take it to Softlogic pay them for shipping and let them take care of the rest.</blockquote>
