Dialog GSM has introduced a new service called * Call (Star Call). Just be
aware since this happned to me last saturday. 17th June 2006.
Last Saturday I saw an exciting news paper advertisement called "Dialog Star
Calls". The advertisement said that the cost is only 2.50 Rs per Star Call,
so I decided to give it a try.
I used my KIT connection so that I can check the cost immediately after the
call. I did everything as given in the advertisement and it went fine.
Finally got a sms saying ur cost for the Star Call is 2.94 Rs. After that I
check my account balance using 486. I had 319 rupees before this particular
star call and after that it was 275. This so called Star Call has cost me 44
Sri Lankan Rupess. But the real drama began when I called customer support
to complain regarding this matter.
I explained the whole thing to the customer support agent. He was trying his
best to convince me saying that it is normal to have that amount since I
have spent more than 2 mins on the star call and so on. When I argued with
him, he was trying very hard to convince me that the cost Rs.44 is due to
this special feature. Then I blasted the guy and he put me on hold and never
came back.
I regret that I could not get his name. But the time of the call was
11.40am 17th June 2006 from my KIT no 0776214***. I called Dialog
customer
support again and this time I made sure to get the guys name, This time it
was a person called UDESHAN. He seemed to know about my call and the
complaint I made to the other agent. I asked what the previous agents name
was, but he didn't give it. Udeshan admitted that there is something wrong
with their end and lodged a complaint on behalf of me. (Complaint Number:
397887) He said that the extra amount that was deducted from my account
balance will be credited to my number within 3 days and that I will be
notified about the same via a call and a SMS.
Today is the 21st June and still I have not received the extra amount which
was deducted from my account. I am sending this to you since its worth to
get rid of this kind of people since they are *EATING our FUTURE TODAY. **
