Dialog TV

Does anyone know what is the Satelite DialogTV are using ? …………….. Can I use it in abroad? Pls help me

its only for Sri lanka. and the satellite they use is an Indian one.. so we only see indian channells.. i mean even we can see ESPN and Tensport. but all are indian channels..

can use in any area you can get signals from that same sat. I think its on intelsat 12. But it may be illegal. And you have to setup the dish. You got to have those all tools too.

Like that we can see TATA SKY from srilanka. But its an Indian SAT company.

Dialog TV has coverage over the entire of Sri Lanka and up to Nepal and neighboring countries through the IS12 satellite.

Thanks machan but i hope they will expand their coverage soon .... B'coz lot of Sri Lankans are waiting for the Middle East Coverage ........... I think you got a good knowledge regarding this ............... is there any posibility to recieve the indain beam in Oman (Muscut area) ???

but enough...
i dont think you can get the...
indian beam from Omann..
there is a separate beam called middle east..
if dialog start to use that beam..
then you can get that..
here is the coverage area of the middle east beam.

Why you want Dialog in middle east area? There are even free sats which gives better channels than Dialog. MTV and all music channels (not MTV India). So really good. I hate MTV India. I am searching a way to see MTV USA other than from web stream.

I think other srilankan SAT channels also available to middle east. So why you want Dialog there?

Why you want Dialog in middle east area? There are even free sats which gives better channels than Dialog. MTV and all music channels (not MTV India). So really good. I hate MTV India. I am searching a way to see MTV USA other than from web stream.

I think other srilankan SAT channels also available to middle east. So why you want Dialog there?

Many channels on Web and Sirasa Also on web if you pay them. Sirasa not in Dialog TV.
Even on Dialog TV local channels looks in really low quality than the normal TV.
As i get to know they broadcast local channels in low quality to save bandwidth for other sat channels.
Just switch from Dialog TV - ITN and normal ITN from VHF you can see the big difference.

machan, dialog tv iz great but sad thing iz we can use it only in srilanka. but if u r planning to go to india, then ideal thing iz you can buy a " DISH TV " connection. coz it available in here and i think you can use it in india as well...

Dubai there is so many Sri Lankan t.v channels like Tv Lanka, Neth sri lanka,sri t.v,pavana & many more Sri lankan t.v channels.(But some t.v channels are pay channels).

Hey guys Neth & Sri Tv you can watch on Hotbird ..... Tv Sri Lanka (Pay CHannel) Rs 6,000 for 3 month) on Yamal sat .......... We are looking for channels like Rupawahini, Eye, Derana, ITN, Swarnawahini ....... GTRZ kiyanawa wage poor quility num useless

Remember there is no channels like above channels .... I have Tata Sky connection which i brought from India it is cool ... but if we have popular SL channels we'l feel like we are in Sri Lanka !!! Next year Dialog will think abt it that's for sure still there are only Just more than 30,000 Dialog Tv Subcribers in SL but if they make it available in Meddle east there will be thousands of subcribers .... but they should give our local channel in good quality otherwise they won't be able to capture the market .......
