Did Bathiya & Santhuish Really Create Sri Lankan Modern Music?

think it was really BnS that really inspired the modern youth music you hear. Before them Kasun Kalhara' deep voice and touching pop songs were creating a new circle of fans. This circle was very big indeed. All time youth hits like 'Ananthayata Yana Paara Dige' and 'Kavlu Piayanpath' and still top hits in the hearts of youth music lovers. However with a mixture or Rap and Rock BnS started the New Music if today that is bein witnessed in our dear country. Of course Iraj is the King os Hip Hop and Rap in Sri Lanka but wasn't the famous ultimate duo - BATHIYA AND SANTHUISH WHO OPENED THE GATES TO THE YOUTH MUSIC OF SRI LANKA that has won awards arounnd the world (ok ok, at least in South Asia and Asia Pacific).
What are your views?
