OK. I don't care. It's your time and effort.

But I wouldn't do that (install DX10 in XP) if I were in your place.

Don't you have any DX10 games?
Then why did you install DX10 in the first place.
DX10 doesn't have any impact on DX9 games.

How did you get the Direct X 10 working? I downloaded the file but have no clue what to do :(
I think he is bluffing. Check that dxdiag screenshot. It says DX versions as 8.09.000.0304 where as it should be something like 10.xxx.xxxxx if it was DX10 :P

    P.S.
He says he has a 8800GTX, but he doesn't even have a DX10 card....He is just spamming.

Direct X 10 is only supported on windows vista mate..Microsoft has stated that they have no intention to release a new version of DX on windows XP..mostly because of the technical limitations of windows xp...but do remember on windows vista DX 9 games are much slower than they are on XP...actually direct x 10 doesnt look that much better than DX9c anyway...even ID software lead programmer (the company that made Doom3, Qauke4 etc) John carmac said that he have no intention of using DX10 for his next generation game "Rage" wich looks fantastic...anyway if u want direct x 10 u need Vista..that means much slower performace...by the way current generation of DX10 video cards are not capable of delivering statisfactory DX10 performance and that include ur Geforce8800 GTX (wich is a power hungry monster of a thing)...
