DirectX Problem

Guys, I downloaded DirectX 9.0c and installed it (Currently having Directx 9.0b) but when i checked with dxdiag it showed Directx 9.0b, why is that guys?

I had this problem several times and what i did is format and reinstall xp then first i did is install the directx. then its ok.

Can u help me with this guys

Maybe a problem with dxdiag. Did you try playing games that require DX9.0c installed?

ow machan games walata thama avula, when i tried to open a game require Dx 9.0c it says file missing (Directx file)

This also happened to me when i was using some version of a XP service pack crap .It didnt allow me to upgrade from DX9b to DX9c

well, i haven't had any experience like that...i never upgraded a dx version...just updated the small monthly updates :S
