The next IP hop is the next ISP which is connected to SLT. If SLT doesn't have any IP connectivity to India and only connection with Deutsche Telecom your IP traffic will first go to Deutsce Telecom then from that ISP only it will travel to India, even though SMW cable goes through India... These are basics in telecommunication and data networking. The person who started this thread doesn't know the routing basics and telecommunications basics.
