1. GOD ON HUMAN SACRIFICE - Genesis 22:2

So the priest shall make atonement for him concerning his sin.
   "If he is not able to bring a lamb, then he shall bring to the LORD, for his trespass which he has committed, two turtledoves or two young pigeons: one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering. And he shall bring them to the priest, who shall offer that which is for the sin offering first, and wring off its head from its neck, but shall not divide it completely. Then he shall sprinkle some of the blood of the sin offering on the side of the altar, and the rest of the blood shall be drained out at the base of the altar. It is a sin offering. And he shall offer the second as a burnt offering according to the prescribed manner. So the priest shall make atonement on his behalf for his sin which he has committed, and it shall be forgiven him."
6. GOD ON SUBSTITUTIVE SACRIFICE - Deuteronomy 12:27
   "Present your burnt offerings on the altar of the LORD your God, both the meat and the blood. The blood of your sacrifices must be poured beside the altar of the LORD your God, but you may eat the meat."
7. SUBSTITUTIVE SACRIFICE - Deuteronomy 21:1-4 (NIV)
   If a man is found slain, lying in a field in the land the LORD your God is giving you to possess, and it is not known who killed him, your elders and judges shall go out and measure the distance from the body to the neighboring towns. Then the elders of the town nearest the body shall take a heifer that has never been worked and has never worn a yoke and lead her down to a valley that has not been plowed or planted and where there is a flowing stream. There in the valley they are to break the heifer's neck.
8. SUBSTITUTIVE SACRIFICE - Numbers 15:3 (NIV) [God likes BBQ!]
   " ... and you present to the LORD offerings made by fire, from the herd or the flock, as an aroma pleasing to the LORD - whether burnt offerings or sacrifices, for special vows or freewill offerings or festival offerings"
9. SUBSTITUTIVE SACRIFICE - Numbers 15:3 (NIV) [God likes wine with mutton!]
   "With each lamb for the burnt offering or the sacrifice, prepare a quarter of a hin of wine as a drink offering."
10. PHAROAH AND SACRIFICES - Exodus 5:17
    Pharaoh said, "Lazy, that's what you are - lazy! That is why you keep saying, 'Let us go and sacrifice to the LORD."
11. KING DAVID AND HUMAN SACRIFICE - 2 Samuel 21:8,9
