I installed WGA validation thingy in Vista in the morning today. Nothing happened at that time. So I hibernated Vista and went out. When I resumed, it said that 'm not running a genuine Vista installation. Yikes!!!

Good thing I created a backup image yesterday. I restored it, and all the problems solved.

This is just to warn you people ;)

It has nothing to do with the crack. I tried to download something from Microsoft today, and it required WGA validation. It didn't say anything at that point, but I couldn't download it either. And this happened when I resumed the PC after that.

Anyway, I downloaded that file through a virtual PC ;)
