Doubts about Paying Income Tax

As an individual with a 8-5 job with a monthly salary that comes under new tax scheme, can I register to IRD to obtain a Tax Identification number?

Yes you can but tax will be paid by the company now and you need to submit those to IRD for your TIN

That means if my current employer will handle the process of paying the taxes, what do I need to submit for IRD. Won't my employer open a TIN/Tax profile on my behalf? Kinda confused with this.
