Assalamu Alaikum Alhamdulillah, we witnessed that the Dr. Zakir Naik's public lecture held very successfully last night (23rd, May 2010) at the Sugathadasa outdoor stadium. According to Sugathadasa Stadium Grounds Manager the number of participants should be more than 40,000. The organizers, Jamiyyathush Shabab and volunteers which comprised a large number of youth from various organizations, had done a very good job. Br. Fariq Naiq's speech on "Peace through Religion" and Dr. Zakir's speech on "Does God Exist?" would have paved the way for non-Muslim brothers and sisters to start a new chapter in their lives. Also it would have helped Muslims to strengthen their Iman. Insha Allah, they would start to learn more about Islam. The thought-provoking speech of Dr. Zakir Naik made two people, an atheist and a Hindu brother, to utter the Shahadah and enter in to the folds of Islam. Allahu Akbar!! Insha Allah, the impact of this program will urge more non-Muslims to study Islam and discover the truth in future as well. Hence, We suggest the organizers to produce DVDs/ VCDs of this event as soon as possible and make them available for any one. And also try to telecast this speech in TV channels and write excerpts of his speech in newspapers. We, hope they would translate this speech in to Sinhala/ Tamil too, Insha Allah.:) MuslimWatch, pray for the organizers and the volunteer team for turning a new page in Dawa in Sri Lanka through this tremendous effort. May Allah accept their intentions, efforts, and deeds. Baarakallahu Lakum. Wassalam. Team-MuslimWatch
