Which is why I began consulting a specialist well before the due date of my license. The issue I have is, while the consultant was through in his test and had no issue with the sight of my right eye to drive, it was not accepted by the examiner at NMRA. I do not mind being limited to light vehicles with conditions, but it was not raised by the medical examiner during the check. It is Only when I went to RMV that they said, I cannot drive anything with a flat front (Van), and it has to be something with an extended hood (A car, cab, etc), so that they can advise on how to modify it - adding side mirrors on to fenders.Correct. But be that as it may, I have never had any major issue with depth perception. Else I would not have a record of accident free driving for almost 8 years <img src="/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/default/happy.gif"  class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt=":)" title="Happy    :)" data-shortname=":)" /> Had this was caught when I first got my license I would have dealt with it there and then.
