His presidential pardon was challenged and there was a flight risk. When the first presidential pardon given by MS during his last days in office,  was challenged the convicted fled (Tasty food owner's son who killed his ex girlfriend in Royal Park apartment prosecuted by present chief justice when he was in AG's dept) the country before the action was taken for argument! Duminda did not do that so he was arrested by order of Supreme Court and remanded (till the case is concluded?) by an interim order.</p></blockquote><p></p>
