CANCELLATION OF TSUNAMI WARNING FOR COCOS ISLAND

8:25 PM local time on Saturday 14 June 2014

SUMMARY:
An undersea earthquake occurred near SOUTH INDIAN OCEAN which had
the potential to cause a tsunami threat to Australia.
No tsunami waves have been observed that may cause a threat to COCOS ISLAND.
Tsunami Warnings for COCOS ISLAND are therefore CANCELLED.
No updates or further warnings will be issued unless the situation changes.

DETAILS:
An undersea earthquake of magnitude 6.6 occurred at
5:41 PM local time on Saturday 14 June 2014 near SOUTH INDIAN OCEAN.
Although the earthquake had the potential to cause a tsunami threat to
Australia, no tsunami waves have been observed that may cause a threat to
COCOS ISLAND.
