The tie-up will allow merchants from Sri Lanka to export their products to over 39 countries where eBay has its operations.HelloCorp has been mandated to undertake all business development activities including seller acquisition, account management, training on eBay tools, workshops and seminars on behalf of eBay.Sri Lanka is a growing regional hub for online retail export and is known to offer distinctive products to the world namely USA, UK, Canada, Australia and Germany. Approx. 3000 merchants from Sri Lanka have already started using the platform to export their products to over 162 million eBay buyers across the globe.Commenting on the tie-up Mr. Latif Nathani, Vice President, eBay said, “We are extremely delighted to initiate our Cross Border Trade operations in Sri Lanka through HelloCorp.
