BCS is more focused on bringing a system analysis into life while BIT is more towards technical side. In software engineering, most of the time you need to analyze and build a a system. So both these things are important. Since BCS is a UK qualification it will have a higher recognition in UK and Aussie compared to BIT. But in my opinion, if you are becoming a complete IT professional its best if you can have your hands on both functional and technical side.</blockquote>
