I bought it for LKR 30,000 and about a year go fish was dead when I check in the morning. don't know the cause of the death, A experience guy said to me that normally big fish get hart attack due to the lack of exercise they get. these fish used to live in big ponds or rivers. when we brought to our home he was living in a tank Length 5ft, width 2.5ft & hight 2.5ft. Glass tank. even thou they swim around the clock its not enough it since. also they used to hunt their food and thrust towards the food or attack it. in our tanks they just get lazy and no need to worry about the food they will get feeded twice a day, due to this they lack of exercise. so we must think twice before we cage a gentle giant in a small tank. Its like Harassing them for our enjoyment. I thought that I will never grow big fish again in tanks. cos they are scarifying their life to satisfy humans. that's is so pitty I guess.Its good to have guppies and platies in numbers, that they will not stop growing and you can help them to grow large and large so you can give it free to people you know. <img src="/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/default/yes.gif"  class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt=":yes:" title="Yes    :yes:" data-shortname=":yes:" />its only my though. who ever like to keep big fish, pls take care them and give them wide area to swim.</blockquote>
