The Admins and moderators (if there are any moderators here ) makes announcements that is visible for all members.On a web forum the topics are structured since there is a separate forum for any subject. This cannot be done with email groups. Imagine the amount of emails on various topics flooding your inbox if EK was an email group. Besides, with an email group, EK cannot have all the Audio, Video uploads since that needs a website.</blockquote>
