Message: <blockquote data-quote="twisted" data-source="post: 8292180" data-attributes="member: 82108">been reading bad stuff about that on papers ..if that movie was just about aliens that would be just dumb, that movie is pretty multilayered, it has a deep laying meaning that addresses the racial issues in africa..you can think of aliens as a big metaphor for other human immigrants that seek shelter and prosper in south africa, it being the richest country in whole africa ..they are cornered and hated..that movie is all about poverty and racial issues in africa...the D9 slums are another metaphor for that emotional and somewut physical hell to which those people have been cornered i guess.. its a pretty great movie.</blockquote>
