    2016 Chevy Volt

Longer electric range, an updated interior, and the addition of a somewhat passable 5th seat in the back are the highlights here. The 2016 Volt will get 53 miles of all-electric range, 40 percent more than the previous version. Even when you run out of juice, the gasoline-electric hybrid backup engine will get you 42 mpg. This adds up to being able to drive the 2016 Volt 420 miles on a tiny 8.8 gallon gas tank and full electric charge, according to the EPA.

    2016 Nissan LEAF

on September 10, Nissan announced a refreshed version of the LEAF, one of the bestselling EVs on the market. The 2016 LEAF gives buyers the option of a 30 kWh battery, boosting the LEAF’s EPA-estimated range to 107 tailpipe-free miles, 27 percent more than previous models. Nissan also touts the LEAFs “highly responsive, fun to drive experience,” which is probably accurate given how awesome it is to feel the instant acceleration provided by an electric motor.

    Tesla Model X

Fellow EV geeks are geeking out pretty hard over the Tesla Model X. 0-60 in 3.8 seconds, falcon wing, yes, falcon wing doors, massive “panoramic” windshield that makes the cabin feel like a helicopter cockpit, driving range of 257 miles, a self-proclaimed “five star” safety rating, and a bevy of electronic sensors, gizmos, gadgets that are likely a precursor to a future autonomous driving mode – all packaged in a 7-passenger crossover SUV.

    2016 Tesla Model Е

As auto fans, we speculate about anything and it for this reason that each of us has been talking about the 2016 Tesla Model E despite that there are two years before its release. To date, only little information has been supplied about model E but based on speculations it is likely to be released soon after model X is released. This to say that the earliest we can expect it is 2017. Length-wise, Model E is expected to reduce by at least 20% when compared to model X. Its power is expected to come from a 48 kWh battery pack capable of powering it for not less than 180 miles.

    Renault Zoe

Renault Zoe is the 4th electric car from Renault that comes in form of a five-door super-mini. The Renault Zoe comes with a purely emission-free engine, up to the standard performance and adequately-resourced interior. Its price though remains reasonable making it to standout as one of the cheapest electric cars available. However, it rests on identical platform just like Renault Clio. It is however larger than Clio and has a slightly rounded exterior finishing which isn’t available on Renault Clio.

    Nissan Leaf Nismo RC

It is now clear that Nissan is just about to release their 2016 Nissan Leaf Nismo RC. Most likely, this will be before the end of the year 2015. Categorized among the best sport cars, Nissan Leaf Nismo RC is all-remarkable ranging from its design to the performance. Inside, no many changes which have been made though most of the areas have been refined to improve their functionality. Outside, the car has got a number of enhancements when compared to the previous model. The engine preferences are now more powerful and efficiently initiated which means driving is easier and more comfortable.
