Elephant struck by train!!!

Villagers gather to look at the remains of a Sri Lankan Elephant which died after being hit by a train close to Manampitiya about about 140 kilometers (88 miles) north east of Colombo, Sri Lanka, Thursday, Nov. 8, 2007.

The Sri Lankan elephant is the largest subspecies of the Asian Elephant.

I think they are safe... a train in motion is more powerful than a still elephant!!!
