What is the difference between these two encyclopedias? Is it just that they are being made by two companies? Can someone who knows about these stuff please comment?

What is the difference between these two encyclopedias? Is it just that they are being made by two companies? Can someone who knows about these stuff please comment?

The basic difference is ENCARTA is INTERACTIVE (kids oriented) and a newbie, whereas BRITANNICA is way too ahead in the quality and quantity (somewhat dry) of information and way too old
