5. All those who came to help in the event was given a warm welcome ( were given )
6. Mr Gamage has been working as a lawyer since 1998 ( correct)
7. Lots of people don't realize the real value of the time until they run short of it. ( )
8. He said that he will/would go to meet him yesterday.( )
9. Do you know where has/had he gone?

8. would go. (ex: He said that he would meet Mr.Gamage yesterday.) Personally I wouldn't use he and him on the same sentence. Don't u think its bit confusing?
