EPDP tops 1st result out unofficially


[2008-05-10 10.50pm] The EPDP has topped the list in the first result from the May 10th Eastern Provincial Council election that has been released unofficially.

With the count of votes of the displaced voters in Batticaloa taken, the party has polled 52 votes.


The UNP is in second place with 48 votes, followed by the UPFA with 19 votes, unofficial results say.

Yeah but i think there'l be tough competition in trinco & digamadulla between the 2 parties.Batticaloa i dnt even think they'll even release the finl results cos of so many vote riggings
