Minister Maithiripala Sirisena escapes LTTE assassination attempt - Boralasgamuwa

An LTTE suicide cadre blew up himself targeting the vehicle convoy of Minister Maithirpala Sirisena at Privena Junction , Boralasgamuwa at 1.15 , this afternoon. Police confirmed that the minister is unharmed. One person has been killed and at least 2 others have been injured in the attack, the sources added.
